Scaffolded Brick Restoration & Repointing

A substantial brick restoration and repointing project shown through access, preparation and repointing stages. This record will be updated as further work and photographs become available.

Preparation & Access
The work areas are prepared and access is set up before any grinding or repointing begins.

Deteriorated mortar is ground out of the joints and the brickwork is prepared for new mortar.

The joints are repointed with mortar suited to the existing brickwork.

Project 02

Single-Storey Brick Repointing & Cleaning

A current residential brickpointing job documented from the existing mortar condition through preparation and repointing. The job is still a work in progress — a pressure clean is still needed to finish it off, and final photographs will be added once that is done.
